Bugaboo

LIESEL has recently been nicknamed "Bugaboo" by the New Family Mom. When swaddled like this, she does resemble a bug. And, bugaboo rhymes nicely with "I love you!" when Mom extemporaneously composes free-verse poetry to soothe her daughter.

"Really Dad? I'm trying to sleep."

Dad thinks, "Gotcha anyway sweetheart!"

She is transitioning to her crib. She is not yet ready for the full, expansive,  freedom the room in the crib offers her. She instead prefers the comfort of swaddling coupled with the hug of the bouncer. As that it makes no difference in her development, Mom and Dad yield to her preference.

If she's packing it up and hauling it with her to college though, that'll be a different matter.
