Multitasking

HEY, when you got two infants you are bound to find yourself holding a baby while you accomplish other tasks. Here, Dad works out while Liesel is strapped to his chest. She loves it. She falls asleep and wakes up only when removed and put down.

Yeah, they swap a little sweat, but that’s what showers and baths are for.

Dad does side lunges. Liesel just sleeps. She'll be workin' out with him soon enough.

Since they sold their elliptical, Dad had to get creative about exercise. A step stool helps develop the quads and keep the heart pumping. The Baby Bjorn is better suited to this than is the Moby. She isn't quite as heavy as the weights he normally uses, so he just up the intensity and tempo.
If you decide to try this, keep your movements smooth. Don't bounce. You'll work harder, but then that is the point of exercise. Also, always be ready to catch baby just in case something should happen.

Upper body workouts don't accommodate baby as well. Dad will have to put some thought into how to do that.

BTW, there are lots of things a parent could do with a kid strapped on. One only need use a little imagination. Some of them might seem like fodder for crude humor, but hey, are you going take him/her off, put 'em down and let them scream just to answer nature's call?
