CAN you believe the twins have been here for a month plus a few days already? Where has the time gone? Wherever it is, if you find it please return it to the New Family as it has gone fast and is missed. It has been agonizingly slow at times too. The latter occurs when one kid, usually EJ at this point, is colicky. That can be twenty minutes of long agony before the sudden silence of sleep, as if someone flipped a switch.
Handsome and Beautiful saw their pediatrician today. Handsome is 8 lbs. and an oz. Beautiful is 7 lbs. and 4 oz. He is 21.25" while she is 20.5". They are within the 10th percentile for BMI. They're low normal, but could be better. The New Family Parents are responding by increasing feedings. Dad is thinking of adopting a foie gras feeding regimen for her if necessary. You can't have too fat babies at this point. They need that energy stored and available when the begin to crawl.
